I recently discovered a sustainable brand based out of Texas with beautiful apparel, home, and accessory items and an even more beautiful heart- meet Tribe Alive. Their mission is to create ethically-made items while simultaneously empowering, inspiring, and improving the lives of female artisans from around the world. Tribe Alive partners with impoverished, talented women in Guatemala, India, Haiti and more to design the Tribe Alive collection in exchange for fair-trade wages, a safe working environment, and work that they can be proud of. I am so inspired by the cycle of creativity, love, and positivity that their design and business model represents and could not think of a better brand to partner with this holiday season. Below are a few of my favorite items from their current collection- perfect for you or that special woman in your life. xo
Christmas shopping is one of my favorite activities. I enjoy it so much because it is an adventure trying to find presents that are really personal, meaningful, and high quality, yet affordable for the special ones in my life. It is not always easy, but it is such a joy when those special items are found and gifted. Cue the tears on Christmas morning!
I recently discovered the brand, Cuyana, and it is one of those finds that I wonder what I did without. I recently ordered a few goodies for myself, and I immediately fell head over heels. The PJs are perfect for a cozy Christmas Eve, their travel case with embroidery is a dream gift, and the heart cosmetics case is the absolute cutest. If you have a traveler in the fam, this gift is a must + embroider it to make it extra lovely. Not to mention, the mini bucket bag is an essential for this season + a guaranteed appreciated gift.
I so respect companies that have great initiative, and their philosophy of fewer, better things expresses the intention of investing in and giving designs that are beautiful and useful. I also love how each piece can be considered an essential – it is not an item that can be added to clutter, but rather, it stands as a quality piece that can be a beautiful replacement. See below for more of my favorite #givebetter gifts!
You know that girlfriend, mom, aunt, or sister in your life that loves to entertain, cook, and keep a well-curated kitchen? These gifts are for her. Also, if you are headed to someone’s home over the holidays for a soiree or homey get-together, the below items make the best gifts for the hostess. Enjoy, xo.
