our HOME TOUR officially launched back in march and it was such a dream to be able to bring you all into our home. a little back story for those of you who haven’t been following along, we started our home renovation process back in 2019. as it typically goes with home renovation projects, it took way longer than we expected, it was way harder than we expected, and with COVID entering the world at the start of 2020, our timeline and efforts were only extended further. needless to say, it was a lot. but so worth it in the end. putting our home together has been such a joy of mine, and truly has made los angeles feel so much more like home.

we completed our home using ENTIRELY NON-TOXIC MATERIALS, from the paint on our walls, to the tile on our floor and counters, to our air and water filtration systems and more. if you’ve read THE CLEAN SWEEP, VOLUME TWO: PRODUCTS–i include specifics here on just what products and companies we used so that you can create your own toxin-free home. it has been such a game changer for our health and journey to clean living. especially with the start of our IVF journey, it gives such peace of mind knowing that the space we’re in the most is safe and clean.

ANOTHER aspect of putting together a clean home was finding the right pieces for the space. unfortunately, not much of our furniture we had in our old home fit properly in our new home. we kept as much as we could, repurposing and recycling it in new ways in our home, which was so much fun. and for the other pieces, one of my GREATEST JOYS from a year of quarentine was being connected with so many small businesses that offered such unique pieces for the home. it was so fun to be able to research new companies, get connected with their team, and support them along the way by finding the perfect pieces for our space.

the mattress topper on our bed. this has made the biggest difference for the ultimate comfort. we feel like we are sleeping on a cloud! this will be a staple in any bed we own from here on out.

the day bed upstairs in our large guest room. this really filled the big space in the most beautiful and comfortable way. and i just love that it is from a small business!

the floor lamp in our living room. it’s amazing how much this piece works to completes a space. it adds height, interest, and my favorite - light!

the rug in the living room. this is the foundation of the room; it’s from a family owned business that values the artistry of a rug, sustainability, clean ingredients, and relationships with the rug makers. the chairs in the long dining room. these rattan pieces are in the limelight right now and i was so thankful i could find ones that are high quality at a more affordable price point. they’re available in sets of two and also in an option with arms which we have at the head of either side of our dining table.
