nyfw day 6.
happy valentines day! my. favorite. holiday. i watched the sunrise on this gorgeous no-jacket kind of day. the top of the morning in nyc might be my most adored time of the city. a new start for everyone; back to life, back to an exciting reality. my first valentines date of the day was with terry! we had a great lunch at rosa mexicana: it's becoming tradition (and one of my most anticipated times). A-mazing food. homemade guacamole. great girl time.i headed straight to woolrich after this scrumptious meal, interviewed the designer, and soaked in the fantastic fabrics and monochrome color palette. it was a treat to say the least. up next? zang toi showroom to interview this genius of an artist, and play dress up!!! i succumbed to his instructions to pick out some dresses and try them on. i am in a dream? off to the alice+olivia presentation with shannon. the scene was festively full of love, sequin pants, and everything pretty. not to mention, a rockin dj, trays of godiva heart chocolates, and mini cupcakes! walked home in a snowy central park made for some great reflection.just when i thought the day reached it's full enchantment potential, the ladies (shannon, her mom, her aunt, abby, and i) went out on the best date to this charming italian restaurant, where love was in the air. never a dull moment with this group! balloons covered the ceiling, the servers were in the most lovely of moods, pizzas were shaped like hearts, and pinked-out waiters with trays of chocolate covered strawberries filled with cheesecake made us break a rule: no dessert before dinner. what happens in new york stays in new york? we dined on incredible pasta, artichokes, and wonderful red wine. and, i actually got some sleep! yipee!!! i heart today.
