Refreshing Ritas
Who doesn't love a margarita in the summer? Being a Texan, "Tex-Mex" is one of my favorite food genres meaning that margaritas are one of my top treats! Sitting on a patio having this drink with friends becomes a hobby when the weather is nice out. Not to mention, they can be so refreshing in these high temperatures. Margaritas are ideal when throwing a fiesta and the perfect "just because" delight. Has your craving started yet? Are you already planning your next rita outing? Well, I have some good news. You can make the delicious drinks at home with this wonderful recipe for margaritas on the rocks!What you'll need:
1/2 cup silver tequila1/4 cup sweetened lime juice1/4 cup triple sec1/4 cup lemon-lime soda or to taste (I prefer using Sprite Zero)
Ice cubesSalt for rimming the glass
Directions:
Rim two margarita glasses with salt and add ice. In a shaker, add ice, tequila, sweetened lime juice, triple sec and soda (lemon-lime). Shake vigorously (holding top of shaker on tightly) . Pour into glasses and serve this delicious summer drink! Perfect for any party!Amount Per Serving:
