off-the-shoulder craze.

Happy almost Friday ya'll! Do you ever find an article of clothing and think, "if I was a top, I would be this top?" Or, am I the only one? Regardless, those were my exact thoughts when I laid eyes on the top I'm sharing with ya'll today. It's feminine, it's flirty, it's flattering...and even better, it's basically wrinkle proof. During the summer I feel like I'm constantly traveling and therefore constantly ironing. I love that I don't have to worry about that with this off the shoulder top!

Another reason I'm obsessed with this top is it's perfect for pairing with cutoffs and sandals for an easy summer look, but I've also worn mine with white jeans for a date night look!Also, it's no secret that I'm basically living in off-the-shoulder tops this summer. one dress, two ways

I don't know about you, but I basically live in dresses during the summer. I'm not a huge fan of jeans because it's so hot in Texas, and I personally find dresses more comfortable than shorts! This dress I'm sharing with you today is so amazing because it could be perfect for a summer wedding, or I wore mine more casual with sandals for the perfect daytime dress! Another reason I love this dress is because you can wear it two ways. I wore it strapless here, but it also has armholes and can be worn off-the-shoulder!

summertime romper

Romper | Gold necklace | Opal ring | Mini handbag | Double white ring | Watch | Sandals (sold out. similar here)I'm not sure why, but I typically shy away from the color red. Which is why I was surprised when I instantly fell in love with this romper from the moment I saw it online. I think it stood out to me right away because I was shopping for my Mexico trip and thought it would be perfect for the beach. This is one of those things you can throw in your suitcase with a pair of sandals, and boom. Your outfit is complete.It's perfect for walks on the beach, or dress it up with wedges for dinner. It's super light and so comfy, and honestly feels like you're wearing pajamas!

summer staples

We all have those days where picking out an outfit can cause a full on anxiety attack. (Wait, you don't? Just me? Okay.) On days like that, it's so necessary to have a few things in your closet that are your staples. Those things that on your worst days, you know you can put said staples on and feel good about your outfit/yourself. This look that I'm sharing with you today is that outfit for me! This neon & floral top is great for showing off your summer tan, plus it's bra friendly and super easy to wear with just about anything.

floral + denim

So I'll be honest. Until recently, I have always shied away from printed shorts. I'm not sure when the switch flipped exactly, but I am currently loving printed (particularly floral) shorts. The ones I'm sharing today are an amazing price, look great with denim, or I also wear mine with a striped tee! I love them because they can be dressed up with heels or super casual with a pair of slip on sandals.

falling for florals

Let's be real - we are never surprised when floral is a trend for spring. But, even if it might be a trend every spring season, it doesn't make me love it any less! I am especially crazy about it this year - floral rompers, floral maxi skirts, floral everything. I think it's perfect for spring & summer weddings, great for brunch with the girls, and always feels feminine and classy. mint + gold

Whether its for home decorating, or spring fashion, I am obsessed with a good mint + gold combination. I think it's especially gorgeous in jewelry, which is why I'm crazy about my new Rocksbox bracelet stack. This is the perfect bracelet stack to wear to a spring wedding, or I dressed mine down by pairing it with a floral tank and light wash jeans! feminine in floral

When it comes to tops, I have two weaknesses: feminine shoulder details, and anything flowy, which is why I'm obsessed with this off-the-shoulder floral top! Nothing says spring like florals and I love that this one is a soft floral print, and has a subtle/organic look to it. (Also, the price is too good to pass up!)

Boyfriend jeans have also always held a special place in my heart - until I found this pair of "his girl jeans". First of all, $58 for jeans? Yes. Second of all, the fit is SO comfortable, I don't even feel like I'm wearing jeans!

maxis || a girl's best friend

In case you haven't noticed, we have been in a total (what I like to call) "maxi moment" for quite some time now. I'll be honest, maxi dresses/skirts are a total weakness of mine, because they are perfect for any occasion -- date nights, traveling, rehearsal dinners, a walk to the park on a Fall day...Here are a few ways Lo & I have been wearing some of our favorite maxi dresses!Lo went on vacation to Mexico this past week and wore this great tank maxi dress on the golf course with her twin sister. The beauty of maxi dresses is that they allow you to be trendy, girly, and comfortable at the same time.I sported my favorite maxi skirt (from milk & honey boutique. see similar one here) on a date night with my husband a few weeks ago. Pair any maxi skirt (especially a floral one) with a denim top (like the one I'm wearing here!), and you've got a great boho look for Fall. Speaking of versatility...I wore one of my favorite maxi dresses just 6 short weeks ago when we went to pick out our puppy! Maxis allow for so much movement without worrying about exposing too much or being uncomfortable.
