coral + mint
I've noticed recently how much my taste changes year after year. Michael and I recently bought a house and the style of home decor I liked 3 years ago is completely different than it is now. (I'm totally out of my burlap phase). The clothes I picked out to wear for our engagement pictures a year and half ago, I would probably not pick now (riding boots with a midi dress? what?). One small thing though that's stayed consistent for me is my love for coral + mint. I love it in decorating, I love it in clothes...I love that it's bright and fun and shows off your tan! This coral dress I'm sharing with ya'll today truly is the perfect summer dress. The gold braided straps make it easy to dress down with a pair of espadrilles, but it would also be perfect for a summer wedding.

summer staples
We all have those days where picking out an outfit can cause a full on anxiety attack. (Wait, you don't? Just me? Okay.) On days like that, it's so necessary to have a few things in your closet that are your staples. Those things that on your worst days, you know you can put said staples on and feel good about your outfit/yourself. This look that I'm sharing with you today is that outfit for me! This neon & floral top is great for showing off your summer tan, plus it's bra friendly and super easy to wear with just about anything.

falling for florals
Let's be real - we are never surprised when floral is a trend for spring. But, even if it might be a trend every spring season, it doesn't make me love it any less! I am especially crazy about it this year - floral rompers, floral maxi skirts, floral everything. I think it's perfect for spring & summer weddings, great for brunch with the girls, and always feels feminine and classy. I've put together a little shopping guide for you with some great floral items (+ accessories!) that are all under $100! Trend Alert: Bright Colors are on the Spring Forecast!
Am I on vacation? The Cut25 presentation in the heart of the meatpacking district was like walking into a land of seaside paradise. Being a surfer girl at heart, this 80s vibe, beach babe fever collection made me what to hit the sandy shores, or at least dress in a manner to feel like I was. Bubble gum pinks were unapologetically placed with pure sky blue hues and bright sun-shiny yellows. We now see why the models had to wear matching visors! Down to the hot-orange lace-up booties and saturated pink clog wedges, this line is at the top of my spring wish list. We are esteemed that Yigal Azrouel chose to make this new collection for us all to enjoy![galleryview id=59]Chatting with the designer, Yigal:What was your inspiration for the collection? "The biggest inspiration was surfer, early 80’s eclectic feeling. I myself am a surfer, so I remember wearing polos. How that will look today, making it futuristic and modern."On CUT 25—"The line is something missing in the market, so I am trying to do something a bit more fun, more interesting, athletic. I have customers that can’t afford the Yigal Azrouel collection, so this is a good price point, and the quality you get here is great."On preparing and showing 3 collections at NYFW—"It’s a lot of work. I am showing three collections including my mens collection. I guess I can handle that."Who else is looking forward to this collection joining the spring market? We are!
