mint + gold
Whether its for home decorating, or spring fashion, I am obsessed with a good mint + gold combination. I think it's especially gorgeous in jewelry, which is why I'm crazy about my new Rocksbox bracelet stack. This is the perfect bracelet stack to wear to a spring wedding, or I dressed mine down by pairing it with a floral tank and light wash jeans! Floral tank - Nordstrom | Lightwash jeans - c/o DL1961 | Bracelet stack - c/o Rocksbox | Sandals - LOFT (old. similar here) | Fringe cross body bag - c/o Hobo (similar here)I bought this floral top a week ago for a weekend trip and have been so pleasantly surprised with how much use I've gotten out of it already! I love the mock neck and the fact that it's just barely cropped. I think it's the perfect flirty spring top that you will wear with everything!

neutral obsessed
Fun fact about Lauren: one of my first retail jobs ever was at Ann Taylor LOFT, freshman year of college. It was a great job where I learned a lot, helped women shop, and really fell in love with the brand. To this day, if I ever need something quick and don't have a lot of time to shop, I know I can count on LOFT - whether it's for work clothes, gameday attire, or just something cozy and casual. The look I'm wearing in this post is head to toe LOFT & I love that it can be work appropriate, but still fun and flirty for a dinner out! Considering my love for neutrals, I instantly fell in love with this mock neck sweater as it has not just one, but TWO neutral colors in it. Mock Neck Color Block sweater - LOFT / Quilted grey skirt - LOFT / Kendra Scott Earrings / D'Orsay Flats - LOFT / David Yurman Bracelet / Michael Kors watch / Kendra Scott Druzy Ring / I paired this mock neck pullover with a fun flirty skirt, which is perfect for Fall. On warmer days you can just wear it as is, and as the temperature cools down, it would be perfect with tights and black booties! What I also love about this outfit too is that you don't have to pick between gold or silver accessories - you can do both!
the slouchy pant
Wait...it's currently a trend to wear loose, slouchy pajama-ish pants outside of your house? Sign me up for that please! I found my favorite black slouchy pant a few weeks ago and have more than gotten my money's worth since! I love that these can be great both for work or running errands. I feel so girly and chic every time I wear them, without sacrificing comfort.LOFT Denim Jacket / Fade to Blue Slouch Pants / Kendra Scott Necklace / Ray-Ban sunglasses / Kendra Scott gold bracelet / Hobo crossbody bag form Nordstrom / Steve by Steve Madden leopard flats / Michael Kors watchI'm also such a sucker for pairing all black with denim. A good denim jacket is an absolute staple in every wardrobe. (Bonus! Mine from LOFT is currently 50% off!)So, happy slouching everyone. Shop my look here![show_shopthepost_widget id="312372"]
basic dress + statement accessories
Speaking of the oversized fedora trend, I myself have fallen in love with it. I love that the hat can pair perfectly with a great maxi skirt for a bohemian look, or [like i wore it below], it could be a great statement piece to pair with a basic and classic dress. I love this one from Madewell because the sleeveless aspect allows you to wear it during warmer months, but the material is super comfortable and keeps you warm as temps cool off. white dresses.
I looked into my closet the other day and realized that my favorite color might be white. {how boring...or not?} It sounds so mundane, but after pondering this, I truly believe it is one of the most ideal shades for the types that lean toward neutral hues (me.) or those who love to sport some saturation. How to make white fit into your regime:a. Let's keep it monochromatic, shall we? Pair it with gold gems and a neutral pump {closed toe or open toe}.b. I have been trying to get more into dresses for the beautiful weather ahead. {Tops + bottoms are my comfort zone}. Invest in one this season.c. Pair it with a caged sandal or a feminine flat sandal {here and here}.

beauty trend: nude lips.
I am such a fan of a beauty trend that makes your eyes pop while your lips take a back seat {in neutral, though}. Take note: this doesn't mean your lips won't look beautiful because trust me, I am a lipstick/lip gloss/lip crayon junkie! In fact, the lip carries the trend. The big spring look is a nude lip. It is so chic, it pairs beautifully with a night-time smoky eye, and it looks stunning with a little bronzer and mascara during the day. Some tips:For those of you that have lighter to medium skin tones, a pale pink nude color will be the best bet. Top it off with this lip gloss in 'Nude Pink.'For those of you that have medium to dark skin tones, a creamy nude shade will fit you best. I just bought this, and I am so excited to try it out. Other nude shades in this lipstick are available and fitting to any complexion color. How to apply:1. When you are applying your foundation, include the lip to tone down it's natural shade. {or you can use your concealer for this step}.2. Line the perimeter of your lip with a nude lip liner. <--Color suggestion: 'Naked Liner.'3. Fill in the entire lip with you nude lipstick or crayon. {several options below}.4. Optional: top your lip with a gloss for shine or a lip liner to keep it matte while adding subtle color (such as pale pink) to the natural lip.Have fun and play with these shades! Experimenting will lead you to the perfect match.P.S. This lip maximizer is always a great addition to your routine as well. #fullerlips
my new love: the sweatpant jean.
I love sweatpants, and I love a great pair of jeans. I could live in either/or all day, every day. All that to say, I was scrolling through Instagram a few weeks ago and discovered what I thought to be Rag & Bone denim that would immediately join my wish list. As I investigated a bit further, I realized that these jeans were digitally printed sweatpants. What??? Instant screen shot.So the story continues. My friend and I popped into Intermix in LA last week, and she showed me sweatpants she thought were cute. Yes, they were the magical denim look alikes. We tried them on {to die for}, and instead of risking buyer's remorse, I decided to wait and think about the possible purchase. Thoughts: perfect travel pant #chicyetcomfy; perfect dinner date "denim" paired with a heel, a white tee, blazer, and gold dainty necklaces; the perfect 'running errands' sweatpant without looking like you rolled out of bed.My sweet sweet boyfriend surprised me with these the next day. He is an angel. I'm tempted to wear these every day!Rag and Bone Sweatpant Jean/Dolce Vita Leopard Kenzie Booties/Ray Ban Mirrored Aviators/T.
