one-of-a-kind pieces

If you haven't noticed by now, I'm a pretty basic "cut-offs and a tee" type of girl. I love fashion, but I feel like the majority of my wardrobe is made up of great basic pieces that I can mix and match with anything.This crochet dress however, is an exception. When I first saw it online, I thought it was bold, yet still feminine and classy. It stands out, but not in an obnoxious way. I think every girl needs to have a few one-of-a-kind pieces like this in her wardrobe. For special date nights (I wore this to a beautiful winery with Michael this weekend), or a trendy brunch. Something that makes you stand out from the crowd, but still lets you feel comfortable in your own skin.

interiors: romantic and white

Hey friends! I could not be more excited to be fully focused on decorating our home in a little over a week. I am counting down the days to make our house an extra cozy haven with pops of color in flowers and romantic details throughout. Decorating definitely takes time, and from what I have heard, it sounds like you are never fully done {so fun!}. I looked into my closet the other day and realized that my favorite color might be white. {how boring...or not?} It sounds so mundane, but after pondering this, I truly believe it is one of the most ideal shades for the types that lean toward neutral hues (me.) or those who love to sport some saturation.How to make white fit into your regime:a. Let's keep it monochromatic, shall we? Pair it with gold gems and a neutral pump {closed toe or open toe}.b. I have been trying to get more into dresses for the beautiful weather ahead. {Tops + bottoms are my comfort zone}. Invest in one this season.c. Pair it with a caged sandal or a feminine flat sandal {here and here}.
