My Go-To Travel Uniform

This summer has been a summer of travel for me and Jase, and we have enjoyed it so much! You have probably noticed that on Instagram from all of the seat cleaning IG stories! Ha, but seriously though, I gotta wipe those seats down! :)Not only is traveling so fun, but it also makes coming home so sweet. With all the recent travels, I have definitely established my go-to travel uniform which makes deciding what to wear on take-off day a total breeze. For starters, this suitcase brings me such joy! It makes packing so easy and the color is super fun. I always reach for this sweatshirt, too, because it is incredibly comfy, and totally perfect paired with some black joggers...Everlane, Abercombie, and Lou & Grey all have great options. This carry-all bag makes for a great carryon on option; it is the perfect addition to a roller suitcase.Normally I travel with a hat on, but I didn't this time! A wide-brim one from Janessa Leone or a cap from Free People are typically on my travel hat rotation. You can't go wrong with a solid baseball cap, either. The finishing element is a great white sneak that is comfortable and well worn-in.What about you? What is your travel uniform?[show_shopthepost_widget id="3235492"]

Hey friends! Sharing five Nordstrom buys to invest in now, during the sale! I have and am so happy that I did, so naturally I had to share! Get the deets and inspo below.
good denim- this sale offers a great time to invest in a good pair of denim. These are so comfortable, flattering, and are a closet staple. Other good ones: these / these / these
ankle booties- these are so comfy and are those go-to boots for fall/winter. I bought similar boots last season, and they are already worn out because I worn them so much, so I was so happy to see similar ones and purchased them ASAP! Loving this pair, too.
forever luggage- luggage can be so pricey, so this sale provides the perfect opportunity to invest in a good quality suitcase.
trucker jacket- I have this same jacket in a blue denim color and wore it so much last season, so adding this gray color made me so thrilled. Levi’s is one of my all time favorite brands + it’s affordable and so classic.
cape poncho- my winter splurge! I love this cape sweater so much, and it is extra cute on!

Beach Trip Must-Haves
Who else is a fan of a beach escape? There is nothing I love more than road-tripping to Malibu with Jase or planning a last minute getaway to Laguna, or looking forward to a long weekend in Miami. [show_shopthepost_widget id="3189538"]
Who else is a fan of a beach escape? There is nothing I love more than road-tripping to Malibu with Jase or planning a last minute getaway to Laguna, or looking forward to a long weekend in Miami. I am so grateful for these times away by the water and near the sand. When thinking of what to pack for the escape, a few beach trip must-haves come to mind. Like the perfect bikini, a crop top white tee (love this one for 4th of July!) denim shorts, and easy flip -flops. Then of course there are the beach basics like a fabulous sun hat, a beach towel, and sunnies. I also never go anywhere without this chapstick and this spray sunscreen during the summer. For chilly beach nights, a cozy pullover is a must and gauze pants are always a good call. Above all, I love to keep it casual and comfortable almost always, but especially at the beach. What about you? Let us know your beach must-haves in the comments below!

My Favorite Bohemian Look For Summer
I am feeling all of the boho, 70's inspired vibes this summer. Aztec prints, flowy styles, relaxed vibes, and beachy hair are all calling my name.[show_shopthepost_widget id="3184412"]
I am feeling all of the boho, 70's inspired vibes this summer. Aztec prints, flowy styles, relaxed vibes, and beachy hair are all calling my name. I absolutely love this outfit for all of it's bohemian influences, flower child character, and laid-back charm. Not to mention, it is so comfortable, but still looks chic and put-together...my favorite formula! Being uncomfortable is seriously never worth it...who agrees!?This dress is the brand Farm Rio- the exact one isn't online (that I can find!) but here is the link to their line at Anthropologie and Farm Rio's own website. This circle bag is the perfect addition of leather to this look...it's the Union bag from Hobo and adds a dose of 70's cool for all the throwback vibes. When it comes to jewelry, I love chokers and cool bracelets, plus ear cuffs and statement rings. The summer collection from Pandora right now is on-point! I love everything, and the pieces I am wearing are just the right amount of accessories to finish off my favorite bohemian look for summer.images by Felicia Lasala

Farmer's Market Run
Living near a farmer’s market is seriously such a gift. There is truly nothing like organic produce, grass fed meats, wild caught fish, farm fresh eggs, seasonal plants, natural beauty items, wild flowers, local honey, small business baked goods, and so much more! Living near a farmer’s market is seriously such a gift. There is truly nothing like organic produce, grass fed meats, wild caught fish, farm fresh eggs, seasonal plants, natural beauty items, wild flowers, local honey, small business baked goods, and so much more! Not only is buying from the market a healthy option, but I love knowing that I am supporting local farmers and small businesses in my town. The more often you go, the more you get to know the people selling the items and build community with them, which is another gift of farmer’s markets. Not to mention, farmer’s market runs are so fun. I love making it a weekend routine and making plans to go with loved ones; it is an outing that is good for everyone. It breaks up the normal grocery market trips, too, which is nice. It is extra special to get home from the market and cook a meal or meal-prep with the fresh items that you scooped up!What about you guys? Do you love farmer’s market runs too? If so, what are you favorite things to buy? Let us know! Also, below are links to reusable bags to stock up on before your next farmer's market run. We love the fabric bags for produce and the canvas bags to load everything up in.[show_shopthepost_widget id="3179141"]
A Clean-Crafted Wine Website You Need To Know About
Happy Thursday, LSK readers! For those who are 21 and older, we write with exciting information today...meet a clean-crafted wine website you NEED to know about: Scout & Cellar. [show_shopthepost_widget id="3164122"]
Happy Friday, LSK readers! For those who are 21 and older, we write with exciting information today...meet a clean-crafted wine website you NEED to know about: Scout & Cellar. Their selection of wines are all clean-crafted, meaning free of added chemicals, the grapes are grown without the use of synthetic pesticides, and there is no added sugar. Yes, please! We were thrilled to connect with Mallory Martin- an independent consultant for Scout & Cellar. We were fascinated by the information she shared with us on the importance of clean-crafted wine and knew immediately that we wanted to share the news about Scout & Cellar with you- a one-stop-shop for an amazing selection of clean-crafted wines. Read the Q&A below for more and consider Scout & Cellar next time your adult friends & family gather around the table.Tell our readers a little bit about yourself!Hi there! My name is Mallory and, when I'm not sharing about clean-crafted wine, I'm working full-time for a non-profit organization and chasing my two cute (and crazy) kids around -- Russell is four and Abby is two. Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, I've now lived in Dallas, Texas close to ten years and, though I still don't own cowboy boots, I have fully adapted the phrase "y'all" and I'm not ashamed. How did you get involved with Scout & Cellar? The company launched in September of 2017 and I found out about it through a dear friend in my community group. As I heard her describe the wine and the difference between mass-produced wine and this newfound clean-crafted wine, I was immediately interested in what it would like to be involved. So, when I heard about this opportunity, it felt like the perfect way to learn more about wine and earn extra income on the side as an independent consultant. What do you love so much about Scout & Cellar?I love that the wine we share is completely clean-crafted -- which means it's naturally grown and consciously bottled. Our founder, Sarah Shadonix, travels the world to find small batch, family vineyards who are making wine as it was intended to be -- without all of the extra chemicals, added sugar and synthetic pesticides. We are all learning to care more about what we put in and on our bodies and there has been significant progress in the skincare, food and cleaning products, but -- until now -- no one was talking about the unneeded, harmful chemicals in our wine. So, what makes clean-crafted wine different than others?Winemakers these days are simply responding to the consumer. You and I decide that we love this one particular wine. We love it so much that we want it to taste the same this year, next year and the year after that. Wine is not supposed to taste the same year after year. But, in order to meet our demands of keeping predictable taste AND in order to continue to reduce costs, pesticides, chemicals and sugar are used throughout the process. There are over 250 commonly-added, FDA approved chemicals and additives used today in mass-produced wine. The average mass-produced bottle of wine can contain up to 16 grams of added sugar (more than a glazed donut). Clean-crafted wine has no added chemicals, no added pesticides and no added sugar. Have you noticed a difference in how you feel drinking toxin-free wine compared to mass-produced wine including the chemicals, pesticides and added sugar? Yes! The only headaches I experienced prior to Scout & Cellar wines were with champagne/bubbles. Though I loved the idea of a cold mimosa on a Saturday morning, it truly would lead to headaches more often than not. Currently, I can use a Scout & Cellar bubbly with a dash of orange juice and it's perfect. Do you love to entertain? What is your favorite thing to cook + fav wine to serve?Yes! Yes! Yes! This is one of the reasons I wanted to learn more about wine; my husband and I love to entertain and this component is a huge piece of the entertaining puzzle. Year-round, he's in charge of the meat and I do all the rest. As we head into summer, his current go-to is grilling incredible dry rub ribs and I'll pair those with a light tomato/mozzarella Caprese salad and grilled asparagus lightly dusted with olive oil, cracked ground pepper and sea salt. If we're enjoying the meal outside, I'll choose our 2016 Hannes Sabathi Sauvignon Blanc from Austria (pairs perfectly with the mozzarella), but if we're inside, I'd choose a red to pair with the ribs -- our 2013 Middle Jane Syrah.*This post is intended for readers 21 and older only. Also, when enjoying wine, remember to drink in moderation and always responsibly!
