CLEAN SKINCARE ESSENTIALS

a few of you have been asking what SKINCARE ROUTINE i follow or what products i use and i’ve been meaning to share. because everyone has such unique needs, it can be hard to share specific products on skincare with others. however, one thing i love about clean skincare is that you truly can do no wrong with any nontoxic product you try. even if it’s not a totally effective formula for you, you don’t run the risk of damaging your skin as opposed to when you are applying layer after layer of TOXIC INGREDIENTS. your skin will benefit regardless from the nourishment of clean ingredients, and you can move on to find more specific clean products that target your needs. it’s a win, even when you use a product you don’t entirely love.

THAT BEING SAID, each individual’s skin is so different and your needs may not be the same as my own. i have combination skin, and with that, i usually fall on the side of being more dry than oily. right now i’m focused on targeting dry spots and getting ahead on antiaging so my products incorporate nourishing ingredients for those needs.

i love the products i have come to use and the brands that represent them. i trust each and every product they sell + they are entirely clean and effective–so regardless of whether you buy a specific product i mention or find something else, you can trust the brand behind them.

PRACTICES

incorporate a good cleanser // i recommend double cleansing to really clean out pores

using a toner is so key for skin nourishing // this preps your skin for even more hydration and the absorption of nutrients in the following products you apply

adding a vitamin c serum is great for anti-aging and supporting new collagen growth and protects your skin

applying a moisturizer should feel like feeding your skin with hydration and vitamins

adding another oil on top of the moisturizer // this helps lock in moisture and further feeds your skin
