this has been such a special time and i have been soaking up every minute! i’m officially over the 1ST-TRIMESTER hump, which honestly included quite a bit of consistent (and unbearable at moments) nausea and exhaustion for me.
so many of you have been so sweet to reach out over instagram and email with kind notes for jase and i, offering such helpful advice for different aspects of pregnancy. it has been so heart-warming and we cannot thank you enough!
as y’all know, i am committed to always finding the most natural and clean methods for self-care, and this journey has included no less! so many of you have been asking, so i wanted to share with you my personal life-saving clean PRODUCTS and PRACTICES that helped me fight nausea and exhaustion in my first trimester.
FOR THOSE OF YOU who have been experiencing a variety of other symptoms, or maybe none at all, this is for you too! i think these practices will be beneficial for boosting energy and finding extra moments of calm in the midst of such a wild and fun journey, no matter where you are.
PRACTICES –
LOTS of rest and minimizing the social calendar
reaching out and getting advice from friends that have had similar experiences
low impact stretching // i’ve been loving melissa wood prenatal flows
drinking ice water
getting fresh air at least once a day
BENEFITS –
magnesium, 2 at night and 1 in the morning; this is very helpful with morning sickness // i’ve been using this one specifically
for sore muscles, cramping, calmness, and great sleep // i use this lotion
helpful for dehydrated skin // i use this
diffusing essential oils has been so helpful for me // i love this essential oil diffuser
peppermint oil or cinnamon can really help with nausea // i swear by revive essential oils
taking a warm bath in pregnancy safe salt // i use this one from amazon
