HOLISTIC PROTOCOL

 
 
 

jase and i recently tested positive for covid, and i feel so passionate about sharing ways to boost immunity to prep for and support your body through illness. we are thankful for the healing suggestions we received to come alongside our body to fight through this virus.

the symptoms we experienced:

  • mild body aches

  • headaches

  • minimal congestion

  • sneezing

  • very minimal coughing

  • more extreme fatigue

  • loss of smell and taste

the biggest thing that we both fought through was anxiety when we found out we were positive. we both read psalm 91 and 34 over each other (sent to me by my precious friend and counselor) and proclaimed that we are healthy and strong. we declared that god delivers us from all of our fears. we chose perfect peace and let god take the burden and help us believe these things from a place of no lack.

on the physical health front, i wanted to share with you our holistic protocol. i want to preface by saying I am not a doctor, every case is different, everybody is different, and it is important to talk to your doctor before starting these practices. this also pertains to mild cases.

these protocols are a blend of suggestions from my sister's pediatrician, my sister's research, my research, and a functional medicine doctor that i trust so much.

 
 
 

HERE ARE THE TOP KEY THINGS

this is the best list to start with if some of the long list of nutrients i recommend below aren’t staples in your pantry - it is important to keep budget in mind, so i wanted to note the top 6 things first.

1. vitamin c 1000mg or liposomal vitamin c // 2 a day

2. vitamin d3 // dosing based on body weight, 150 mcg

3. zinc sulfate // 1 per day, top scientists believe this can kill the virus

4. v clear EPs 7630 // 3 times daily if you have symptoms; helps prevent anything getting into your lungs

5. glutathione // this is the most important antioxidant for your heart

6. epsom salt bath with CBD bath bomb // 1 bath daily for 10-15 minutes only, we preferred doing this in the evening

these were the most helpful tips and parts of our routine:

  • go for a walk outside in the backyard every day even if it was only 5 minutes.

  • take a nap or be outside (in your personal residence) in the sun and fresh air. if this is too exhausting, open your windows if the weather is pleasant.

  • take an epsom salt bath every evening.

  • sleep is essential when you need it day and night!

last but not least: have a positive mindset. this is so important in the process as there is so much fear and unknowns that envelope this virus. remind yourself that your body and immunity are supported and strong. try to release the fearful thoughts whether that’s writing them down or saying them out loud and turn them into positive and healing ones!

HERE IS THE FULL-FLEDGED PROTOCOL

1. vitamin c 1000mg or liposomal vitamin c // 2 a day

2. vitamin d3 // dosing based on body weight, 150 mcg

3. b complex // 1 per day

4. quercetin (OTC version of hydroxychloroquine) // 2 per day

5. zinc sulfate // 1 per day, top scientists believe this can kill the virus

6. melatonin // 1 per night, 10-12 mg, if this causes you to wake up in the middle of the night, it is not necessary to take

7. colloidal silver // one teaspoon three times a day

8. arsenicum album // 10 pellets once weekly for prevention, 5 a day if you have symptoms

9. elderberry // 1-2 teaspoons twice daily

10. v clear EPs 7630 // 3 times daily if you have symptoms; helps prevent anything getting into your lungs

11. epsom salt bath with CBD bath bomb // 1 bath daily for 10-15 minutes only, we preferred doing this at night

12. lots of fluids // we drank a lot of water and sometimes would add in this electrolyte

13. diffuse protect essential oil

14. tea tree essential oil // apply to spine three times a day

15. probiotics // double your daily dose

16. oregano oil // 3 drops three times a day

17. glutathione

18. zand elderberry and zinc lozenges

19. breathe easy tea with tulsi tea // or tulsi tea with nighty night tea

20. for those of you with congestion, avoid citrus juice as that thickens phlegm and instead use citrus peels and their oils. it acts as goo-gone for phlegm! a great way to do this is to add the peel to hot water or tea by cutting it or zesting it.

HEALING CHICKEN SOUP// RECIPE

2 tbsp organic extra virgin olive oil

1/2 medium organic yellow onion, diced

2 organic elery stalks, roughly chopped

1 large organic carrot, roughly chopped

1 tsp organic kosher salt

1/2 tsp freshly ground organic black pepper

2 organic garlic cloves, minced

1 piece fresh organic ginger, finely grated

4 cups organic chicken broth

1 1/2 pounds boneless, organic chicken breast

1 sprig fresh organic rosemary leaves, chopped

3 sprigs fresh organic thyme leaves

1/2 tsp ground organic turmeric

1/8 tsp organic cayenne pepper (optional)

2 organic bay leaves

2 cups packed roughly chopped organic kale

2 tbsp fresh organic lemon juice

in a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. add the onion, celery, carrot, salt, and pepper and cook, stirring, until the vegetables are tender, 5 to 7 minutes. add the garlic and ginger and cook, stirring occasionally, for 2 minutes.

mix in the broth, chicken, rosemary, thyme, turmeric, cayenne pepper (if using), and bay leaves and bring the soup to a boil. reduce heat to a simmer, cover, and cook until the chicken is cooked through and can be easily shredded, about 15 minutes.

using tongs, transfer the chicken to a cutting board and reduce the heat under the soup to medium. use two forks to shred the chicken into bite-size pieces. return the shredded chicken to the soup along with the kale and lemon juice. over medium heat, cook the soup until the kale has just wilted, about 4 more minutes. remove and discard the bay leaves. taste the soup and adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper, if desired.

POST RECOVERY NOTES

  • marshmallow root for lung repair, treating coughs. lowering inflammation, and supporting digestion

  • hypothalmex aids in regulating body temperature, regulating stress and supporting brain health
