ONE OF MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITES FOR A YUMMY TREAT, WHETHER IT’S FROM THEIR COOKBOOK OR ORDERING FROM THE BAKERY HERE IN LA// I’M SO EXCITED TO SHARE WITH YOU A RECIPE FROM SWEET LAUREL BAKERY AS WE JOIN LAUREL IN THE KITCHEN FOR THE 30-DAY CHALLENGE WITH THE CLEAN SWEEP, VOLUME ONE: FOOD// HERE ARE CLEAN, CLASSIC SNICKERDOODLES
INGREDIENTS
3 cups almond flour
1/2 tsp himalayan pink salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
2 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 cup coconut oil, melted
1/2 cup maple syrup
1 tbsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup date or coconut sugar
DIRECTIONS
1. preheat oven to 350 degrees and set rack in the middle of the oven.
2. stir together the dry ingredients in a medium bowl.
3. whisk together all wet ingredients and stir into the dry ingredients.
4. place one inch balls of batter onto parchment-lined baking sheets and lightly press down.
5. sprinkle with the sugar and cinnamon combination.
6. bake for 8-10 minutes, until just golden brown around the edges.
7. remove from the oven and place the cookies on a cooling rack.
