lifestyle// organizing the nursery

y’all probably know by now that ORGANIZATION IS MY LOVE LANGUAGE. I love for everything to have a space, and this remains the case for our little guy’s nursery too!

I HAVE HAD SO MUCH FUN putting all of the products and pieces into place, and it has been such a special time to reflect on the little life to be as i arrange everything.

we will definitely be sharing more about the nursery and all things baby, especially once he is here! but in advance of him coming I wanted to share just a bit more about how we organized the space and the little things we’ve done to prepare.

to help the nursery feel extra peaceful, i have counted on these precious woven fruit baskets and the dresser to store all items. we also have this side table coming to provide just the right amount of space for his sweet little necessities.

another piece we added was a montessori shelf alongside one wall that my friend kelly, the founder of branch basics, recommended to me.

IN THE ROOM, there is also a walk-in closet, where as of right now we’re storing a few additional larger items like his bassinet, rocker, and high chair–but I’m planning on building it out more to be a functional closet so I will share that too as it happens!

for the dresser, inside of the drawers, i used sort joy small felt bins and could not love them more. they are committed to using sustainable and recycled materials that have positive environmental impact. it was so special sorting his little diapers, wipes, pacifiers, clothes, teethers, bibs, and sleep supplies into these healthy containers.
