Comfy Clothes To Live In

Who else has been living in comfy clothes lately? The winter season definitely brings upon an urge and desire for coziness, comfort, and relaxation and comfy clothes fit that bill perfectly. We rounded up some New Year's Eve outfit ideas last week for the party-goers and dinner dates, but this post is for those that have a movie date at-home planned. Finding Comfort

Over the past few years, decor & interiors have become something that we are really passionate about here at LSK. Decorating a home is such a special, personal process and results in a haven that is uniquely yours. How cool is that? It is fascinating to us how everyone's home is entirely different; a collection of one's past, things that they love and are drawn to, plus items and pieces that they see as inspiring, practical, beautiful, and comforting, or a combination of all of the above.We definitely believe that as people, we decorate our homes and make certain interior design choices with the goal of finding comfort. Consciously or not, we seek comfort in all areas of life; sometimes though it is just not possible, since the reality is that discomfort is a very normal part of life. However, our prayer is that all of our homes can be a little corner of comfort for us in this world. No matter what you call home, we pray that it is a place of comfort, rest, safety, and peace for you; a little sanctuary where you start your day and end your day, finding peace and hope no matter what sort of day you had or are having .When we discovered this chair from Bakarian Studio, we knew that it had to be a part of our home. The unique design, beautifully simple aesthetic, and comfort factor caught our attention immediately.  We had been searching for the right chair for this corner of our guest room and this one fits perfectly and finishes the room just the way that I hoped it would. My wish is that guests find comfort in this corner while staying at our home; curling up with a blanket to enjoy a cup of tea before bed, reading a book, or making a phone call. Workout Plus Lounge

Do you guys find yourself using workout clothes as lounge clothes, too? We do and we kind of love it. Clothes that function as workout plus lounge are so convenient. I find myself often being around the house in workout clothes, feeling comfortable, getting chores done, and then just heading out the door to the yoga studio or gym. On the way home, running to Whole Foods or picking up dry cleaning is no big deal, either. Versatility, comfort, style, and performance are all so important to us when it comes to workout clothes, since they serve more than one purpose. More often than not, I am just not in the mood to dress up. But unfortunately wearing pajamas to run errands isn't necessarily acceptable. I love that I can sleep in these tees if I want to, but also pair it with a scarf or one of their super chic sunnies and have a really put together look.Another reason the ILY Couture website is quickly becoming a go-to shopping spot for me is the price point. Seriously these sunnies look so high end and are $22?! I'm all about that. Their tees are great quality and actually don't fall apart in the wash, yet for a price that won't break the bank!

appropriate loungewear

So, I'll be straight with you guys: this post is going to show you a little tiny window into my soul. An addiction that some would say is unhealthy or obsessive. And I just say, it's necessary. I, Lauren Sims, am addicted to comfy pajamas. And I pride myself on the collection that I have built.I'm not a fan of just any comfy pajamas though. I've found adorable comfy pj's at Target before (not hating, just saying) that looked great on the hanger, and then I slept in them one time and they were a wrinkled disaster after that. No thanks. Or I washed them one and they shrunk up about two sizes.Michael and I recently went to the lake for the weekend with a group of our friends. My biggest struggle in packing for these trips is: "what will I bring to sleep/lounge around in?!" Obviously I want to be comfortable, yet still cute, yet appropriate all at the same time.Enter: eberjey. My #1 favorite pajama brand slash obsession. I'll be honest, this price point is more than what I was used to spending at say, Target or something. But ya'll I live in these pajamas. They are comfortable and light enough to sleep in, but appropriate enough to wear in front of friends or on a lake weekend.

3 Days of Thanksgiving

There might be 12 days of Christmas but there are 3 days of Thanksgiving: travel day, turkey day, and black friday. All of which require their own distinct outfits!
